Shrine Bowl Cheerleaders
The 2013 cheerleaders will again be coached by Jada Belt, assisted by Tracey Hanson , both are from Stevens High School in Claremont NH.
It’s hoped that the number of cheerleaders will continue to grow. Nomination forms for cheerleaders were sent last fall to all Cheerleading Coaches in both states.
Those who were nominated and returned parental consent forms were invited to attend a special dinner with their parents on Sunday, April 14 in Lebanon, NH.
For the first time, the cheerleaders will spend one night at Dartmouth, Friday, August 2, preparing for the Bowl Game. They will also attend the Players Awards Dinner that same evening.
It's also hoped the cheerleaders can raise enough money so, for the first time, they can visit the Shrine Hospital for Children in Springfield, MA where in the smile of a small child the real meaning of Shrine football can be found.
